In the second week of Thursday Night Football, the New York Jets will face the Buffalo Bills in Buffalo.
Thursday Night Football week 2 is bound to be entertaining with AFC East winless Rivals facing off. Both teams are coming off losses in their season opener, therefore expect this to be a great game, because both teams are hungry for a win. These losses were not blowouts, each game came down to the wire with their opponents barely escaping with a win. The Jets lost on an interception by the Bengals, after the Bengals made the game winning field goal. Then the Bills lost by six points to the Baltimore Ravens in a game they should have won.

The good news for NFL fans is these teams are rising teams with great defenses. Expect to be entertained by both teams despite the amount of scoring that does or does not take place. In this slideshow I am going to let you know of 3 things to watch for in the game in week 2 of Thursday Night Football.

Both teams will their color rush jerseys for this Thursday Night Football game. The league brought this idea up and made it happen in a few games last season. This year they plan on every team playing a game in their respective color rush uniforms. It is to add more spark to the game and give the fans something to be entertained by while watching the game.

Last season it went well until a few viewers stated they couldn’t see anything, which happened to be because they were color blind and that when you put two dark color jerseys together it is hard to tell the difference. There is no contrast, it is just two gray jerseys. This will be one thing to watch to see how Nike has fixed that problem with the jerseys. Actually this specific game last year was the first game and most people couldn’t see the different colors which were green and red, they just saw all black.

These teams face off twice each season because they are in the same division. Both times they faced each other last year, the games were exciting to watch. One of the games was all about the Quarterbacks making plays to help their team out. For example Ryan Fitzpatrick of the Jets and Tyrod Taylor of the Bills both had to escape the pocket ,be mobile, and find an open receiver down the field. This game we will see if they will do the same or if they will stay in the pocket and be a true quarterback making plays from their. They will do what their coaches tell them to do, unless they see otherwise.

On Thursday Night Football neither team ever disappoints, which makes for an exciting game. Both of these quarterbacks are fun to watch as when they are good they are on fire. Let us just hope they are not cold because then everyone will would see a 9 to 6 kicking game. Fans don’t want to see a game like that. They want to see an exciting game. Nonetheless these quarterbacks, coaches always make for a fun matchup and this is the second year in a row Todd Bowles and Rex Ryan face off against each other as head coaches. Both are also defensive minded coaches, so that should let you know their quarterbacks have quite a bit of leeway.

Lastly the third thing to watch for in the game is the defense on both teams. Last year they were two of the top defenses in the league. This year they still are after one game, although they lost their first game. Rex Ryan hired his brother as the Bills defensive coordinator, which is great news for Bills fans. Their defense just improved with that hiring. On the other side of the ball Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie is no longer with the team, yet don’t worry Jets fans because you still have Darrelle Revis and company. The Jets have continued to make improvements on defense each year. Their front seven is something to watch. Each team has a great front seven and their secondary is okay, but the Jets have Revis Island.
Will Revis rediscover his island? How will Watkins play?

We wil see how each face off against their rival quarterbacks tonight and it should make for a good game. Will Revis bounce back from a poor outing. The Bills seem to have the stronger defense overall despite an okay secondary, because they held their week 1 opponents the Baltimore ravens to 13 points. The Jets on the other hand faced the Cincinnati Bengals and gave up 30 points to them, therefore I give the advantage to the Bills tremendously. Either way tonight we will see a game. We should not see either team get blown out, because both teams are fairly matched up all around. Each organization used to be mediocre, now both teams are good and continuously improving.
Do not underrate the Bills defense, just how good are they? They knocked the Jets out of the playoffs last year. Their secondary is ready to make a name for themselves. Also the Bills defeated the Packers last year at Lambeu Field.

This game is going to be fun to watch with the new color rush uniforms, the quarterbacks are expected to be good this year, as well as both teams defense.
It is week 2 of Thursday Night Football.
Tonights matchup is a fair game with the upper hand to the Buffalo Bills.
