The Philadelphia media speaks with former Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford
The Philadelphia media took the opportunity on Wednesday to speak with Sam Bradford via telephone.
Former Philadelphia Eagles and current Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford has a lot on his mind these days. On Wednesday, he took some time out from his preparation for Sunday’s game to speak with members of the Philadelphia media. The former first-overall pick was asked if he had any strange feelings about returning to the city he used to play in to compete against a team that he left just six weeks ago.

“Yeah, you know it is a little strange” said Bradford. “I think I said it today when I was talking to out guys here. If you would have told me six weeks ago that we were getting ready to play this game, I would have thought that I was going to be playing for the Eagles, and we’d be getting prepared to play the Vikings..The fact that it’s the other way around and I’m playing against the Eagles, it’s definitely not something that I expected.”
Bradford stated that he’s not sure whether or not his knowledge of his former team’s personnel is an advantage or not. The system that the Vikings utilize offensively is obviously different from the system he ran against the Eagles’ defense in training camp. Bradford agrees his knowledge of this team’s defense is helpful. He also expects there to be a gameplan created specifically to stop what the Vikings want to do on offense. Bradford also talked about everything from his lack of surprise at Carson Wentz‘s success and the differences between pressure in Minnesota and in Philadelphia.

It appears the trade is working out pretty well for all parties involved. As an Eagles fan, you have to hope Sam doesn’t enjoy the same success he’s been seeing all season when he makes his return to Philadelphia. We’ll all know the answer to that soon enough.
