Stephen Gostkowski earns AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors

Through all of the kicking woes in the NFL this season, few kickers have remained perfect. Stephen Gostkowski of the New England Patriots has.
By making all three of his field goal attempts on Sunday against the Jets, Gostkowski improved his conversion rate to 15-of-15 this season, and he earned himself AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for the second time in his career.
Gostkowski also made all three of his extra point attempts Sunday, improving his NFL record to 435 in a row. He had a bit of a scare against the Jets, though, as he banged one extra point off the upright, but it still went through. That's about as close as he'll come to missing this season.
