The Steelers are in Philadelphia for the battle of Pennsylvania.

While the team gets ready to take on the Eagles we’ll be busy looking for mentions of your Black & Gold so we’ve got you covered. Here’s your Steelers Morning Huddle for Sunday, Sept. 25th.

Having a ball with the ball

If DeAngelo Williams rushes for 63 yards against the Eagles he will become the oldest running back to hit the 300-yard mark for the first three game of a season.

The last do hit 300 yards as a senior citizen running back (older than 30) in the NFL was Walter Payton with the 1986 Chicago Bears, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reminds us.

Williams already has said that he doesn’t care about individual stats or accomplishments. If he helps the team win, that’s all that matters. The doesn’t mean he’s not enjoying himself, though.

“It’s exceeding my expectations – I’m having a ball. Coming in with nine years of experience, knowing there’s not a lot left on the clock, it could be four years, five years, two years, could have been one year. I wasn’t sure what I was stepping into. I just knew I wanted to go to a contender.” – DeAngelo Williams

The Steelers are a contender because of Williams.

    What it is

Antonio Brown surveyed the locker room to see what the guys like on their cheesesteak sandwiches.

Sammie Coates has it right by admitting that the Primanti’s sandwich is the way to go. You could also check out my cheesesteak if you’re in the mood for a shameless plug.

    It’s personal

Pittsburgh’s offensive line is 40 percent Florida Gators and only 20 percent Tennessee. Football season always brings out the rivalries amongst teammates whenever their alma matters play each other.

Ramon Foster may be questionable for the game against the Eagles but he’s definitely feeling his Volunteers in their 38-28 comeback win over the Gators on Saturday. He’s got zero chill about it. Absolutely none.
