Scobee satisfied with new PAT rule

Count Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee among those unfazed by the NFL's new rules regarding extra points.
The 11-year veteran said he doesn't have a problem with moving PATs from the two to the 15-yard-line, figuring it's a better result than some of the other proposals he'd been hearing about.
"I figured a rule change was eventually going to take place," Scobee said, according to ESPN's Mike DiRocco. "This is the best outcome of the possible changes that I heard about.
"All it does is place more importance on having a reliable kicker."
Luckily for the Jaguars, they have a pretty reliable one in Scobee. The new distance equates to a 32 or 33-yard kick for a single point and as DiRocco notes, Scobee has a 95.5 percent success rate from that distance over the course of his career.
So while moving extra points back may serve to make things less automatic than before, Scobee and the Jaguars aren't expecting a huge impact from the new rule.
