Round 1 Rewind
Round 1 of the 2020 NFL Draft is in the books!
And boy was it fun!
If you missed anything, don't worry – we've got you covered with everything you need to know from the world of social media, including what team picked who and how the football world responded to every single selection.
Let's start from the top:
No. 1: Cincinnati Bengals, QB Joe Burrow
No surprise here, folks – with the 1st pick, the Cincinnati Bengals select LSU quarterback Joe Burrow.
The Heisman Trophy winner and national champion is headed home back to Ohio!
And don’t worry, Joe – you look every bit of a top pick in our eyes.
Looks like he fulfilled his high school prophecy of "most likely to become famous."
No. 2: Washington Redskins, DE Chase Young
We're not shocked about this one either – with the 2nd overall pick, the Washington Redskins select Ohio State defensive end Chase Young.
In three seasons at Ohio State, Young had 30.5 sacks, including a school record 16.5 last year.
Needless to say, people are believers.
No. 3: Detroit Lions, CB Jeff Okudah
The chips are falling just how we all thought they would – Ohio State cornerback Jeff Okudah is the third playmaker off the board.
We've got all sorts of fun facts associated with this one!
And then, maybe our favorite stat of the evening:
Ohio State knows how to do it.
Or better yet, Urban Meyer does.
No. 4: New York Giants, OL Andrew Thomas
With the 4th pick, the New York Giants get Georgia offensive lineman Andrew Thomas and in turn, get some protection for their young quarterback Daniel Jones.
It looks like the Giants are fans of offensive lineman.
As do many of our trusted analysts:
No. 5: Miami Dolphins, QB Tua Tagovailoa
We had a feeling the Dolphins were picking a quarterback, but we just weren't sure which one.
With the 5th pick, Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is headed to Miami.
Tua has had one wild career at Alabama, reaching the highest levels of success and experiencing the lowest of lows in the form of injuries.
Now, he'll take his successful pedigree to Miami.
No. 6: Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers
We've got another quarterback off the board!
The Los Angeles Chargers take Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert with the 6th pick.
This young star is headed to Hollywood!

No. 7: Carolina Panthers, DT Derrick Brown
We've got another defensive player off the board!
Defensive tackle Derrick Brown will take his skills to Carolina.
How are we feeling about this one?
No. 8: Arizona Cardinals, LB Isaiah Simmons
With the 8th overall pick, the Arizona Cardinals select linebacker Isaiah Simmons.
But let's be clear: they aren't just getting a linebacker.
Wow – can you say versatile?
No. 9: Jacksonville Jaguars, CB CJ Henderson
Florida cornerback CJ Henderson won't have to travel far to Jacksonville.
The SEC is absolutely dominating this draft.
We're not surprised though. That conference is filled with playmakers.
No. 10: Cleveland Browns, OL Jedrick Wills Jr.
With the 1oth pick, the Browns select Alabama offensive lineman Jedrick Wills Jr.
Cleveland quarterback Baker Mayfield should be excited about this one!
No. 11: New York Jets, OL Mekhi Becton
The 2018 quarterback class is getting some serious protection this draft.
Another offensive lineman is off the board and headed to the New York Jets.
In case you forgot, this guy has some wheels.
In addition to quite a few other impressive qualities.
No. 12: Las Vegas Raiders, WR Henry Ruggs III
Our first receiver is off the board!
The Las Vegas Raiders select Alabama wide receiver Henry Ruggs III.
With this pick, they not only get a speedster...
...but also a man of style.
No. 13: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (via Indianapolis Colts), OL Tristan Wirfs
If you didn't think the Bucs could get any better, they just did – Tom Brady now gets protection from Iowa offensive lineman Tristan Wirfs.
Come on Tampa, this really isn't fair!
Not to mention, this kid is special.
Just look at what he did for his mom.
No. 14: San Francisco 49ers, DL Javon Kinlaw
The San Francisco 49ers select South Carolina defensive lineman Javon Kinlaw with the 14th overall pick.
You'll want to know his story:
After overcoming adversity, this guy is taking his talents to the bay.
No. 15: Denver Broncos, WR Jerry Jeudy
The second receiver is selected in the first round.
Denver, say hello to your newest wide receiver, Alabama's Jerry Jeudy.
If you want a sneak peak of what you're getting, Jeudy was putting in work this morning – apparently there are no days off for this rookie.
We like what we see.
No. 16: Atlanta Falcons, CB A.J. Terrell
Three quarterbacks and three cornerbacks are now off the board in the first round.
With the 16th pick, the Atlanta Falcons take Clemson cornerback A.J. Terrell.
The Falcons secondary needs help, and Terrell will get the job done.
No. 17: Dallas Cowboys, WR Ceedee Lamb
Did Dak needs anymore weapons?
He got one.
Oklahoma wide receiver Ceedee Lamb is going to a Cowboy.
Talk about a trio:
Saddle up – things just got serious in Dallas.
No. 18: Miami Dolphins, OT Austin Jackson
Tua just got some protection!
The Miami Dolphins select USC offensive tackle Austin Jackson.
You know you're getting a good one Miami – just remember what he did for his sister before his 2019 season:
No. 19 Las Vegas Raiders, CB Damon Arnette
The Raiders are keeping us on our toes!
With the 19th pick, Las Vegas takes cornerback Damon Arnette.
This one was a bit of a shocker:
No. 20: Jacksonville Jaguars, LB K'Lavon Chaisson
The Jaguars got a steal at No. 20 with LSU linebacker K'Lavon Chaisson.
He's taking his talents to Jacksonville, and he has lots of them.
No. 21: Philadelphia Eagles, WR Jalen Reagor
TCU wide receiver Jalen Reagor is on his way to Philadelphia!
While most thought Philadelphia would take a receiver, they were a little surprised by which one:
No. 22: Minnesota Vikings, WR Justin Jefferson
We've got back-to-back wide receivers off the board!
The Minnesota Vikings take LSU receiver Justin Jefferson.
After trading Stefon Diggs during the offseason, Jefferson will be an important addition to the Vikings' offense.
No. 23: Los Angeles Chargers (via. New England Patriots), LB Kenneth Murray
The second Chargers pick is in!
At No. 23, Los Angeles selects linebacker Kenneth Murray.
That defense is going to be a serious force.
No. 24: New Orleans Saints, C Caser Ruiz
The New Orleans Saints are adding more protection for quarterback Drew Brees.
Michigan center Caser Ruiz is headed to NOLA.
That offensive line is looking solid.
No. 25: San Francisco 49ers, WR Brandon Aiyuk
Arizona State wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk will be staying on the west coast. He's headed to San Francisco.
The 49ers are getting a playmaker:
No. 26: Green Bay Packers (via. Miami Dolphins), QB Jordan Love
We've got our biggest storyline of the draft, folks. Green Bay has picked up Utah State quarterback Jordan Love.

No. 27: Seattle Seahawks, LB Jordyn Brooks
Seattle Seahawks select Texas Tech linebacker Jordyn Brooks with their first pick in the first round.
We've got some alumni love!
No. 28: Baltimore Ravens, LB Patrick Queen
LSU is just racking up the pros.
The next Tiger off the board is LSU linebacker Patrick Queen.
Baltimore is ready for him.
No. 29: Tennessee Titans, OL Isaiah Wilson
At No. 29, the Tennessee Titans select Georgia offensive lineman Isaiah Wilson.
With the pick, the Titans address an important need:
No. 30: Miami Dolphins (via Green Bay Packers), DB Noah Igbinoghene
With their third first-round pick, the Dolphins select defensive back Noah Igbinoghene.
The secondary is absolutely loaded in Miami.
No. 31: Minnesota Vikings, CB Jeff Gladney
TCU cornerback Jeff Gladney will continue to rock the purple threads as he heads to Minnesota.
Sounds like he'll fit right in on his new team:
No. 32: Kansas City Chiefs, RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire
We finish Round 1 with a big pick – and are we really surprised?
Of course the reigning Super Bowl champs would make a splash.
The Kansas City Chiefs select LSU running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
This is kind of a big deal.
Round 1 was a tremendous occasion!
