New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski just scored career touchdown No. 69. Nice!

Rob Gronkowski is a bro’s bro. Whenever you think about just the lovable jock stereotype, you’re either thinking of the New England Patriots tight end or someone quite similar to him. Thus, Week 8 was a big game for him against the Buffalo Bills. No, he wasn’t about to break anymore records for tight ends receiving. Instead, he was approaching a much nicer milestone: his 69th career touchdown.

With Tom Brady and the Patriots in complete control in the first half, they were at midfield driving once again. At their own 47-yard line, Brady decided to look for old reliable in Gronkowski deep down the field. Because he’s a physical freak, Gronk beat his coverage by a mile, made the catch, and cruised into the end zone.

There will never be a nicer touchdown in the tight end’s career:

Once we get through making jokes about career touchdown No. 69 for Gronk (though he should probably just retire on the spot now), think about how ridiculous it is that the Patriots tight end is already reaching that mark. He’s only 27 years old and he’s already at 69 scores. That’s absurd. Oh yeah, it’s also a Patriots record for career receiving touchdowns. Again, he is 27 years old.

You better believe that Gronkowski is going to be keeping this game-ball. There’s probably no more important score to him than his 69th. After all, he was fully aware of it when it came up last week in a postgame interview. Now he’s got it under his belt.
