Rob Gronkowski on King Kong coverage: I have to prepare for anyone

Rob Gronkowski is widely considered to be the toughest player to cover in the NFL. The Pittsburgh Steelers learned that the hard way last week to the tune of three touchdowns from Gronk, but Rex Ryan of the Buffalo Bills has a different plan for the big man.

Rather than deploying just one player on Gronkowski, Ryan plans to put King Kong on him. Obviously, he was just cracking a joke, but Gronkowski's response to Ryan's plan was priceless.

"Like I said, you've got to prepare for anyone," he said via Mark Daniels of the Providence Journal. "I just have to go out at practice and prepare for anyone at any time."

So, that means Gronkowski is preparing for King Kong to cover him, right? That sure is what it sounds like.

Gronkowski has obviously learned from his head coach with this very Bill Belichickian response.
