Report: Jake Long visits, works out for Atlanta Falcons

It seems like an eternity ago, but back in 2008 Jake Long was the first overall pick in the NFL draft. Now? Long is looking to turn his career around with the Atlanta Falcons. While there hasn't been a contract offered from the Falcons just yet, Chris Mortensen of ESPN reported that Long was in town for a workout.

As Mortensen explained above, Long is a free agent after his second ACL surgery. The former St. Louis Ram played in only seven games in 2014, but before that had missed only seven games over the previous four seasons.

If Long is able to make a strong showing for the Falcons, he could be some interesting depth to add to the Falcons line in 2015.
