Report: Giants will release Victor Cruz if he doesn't take a pay cut

The New York Giants have given wide receiver Victor Cruz an ultimatum: take a pay cut or hit the road, per ESPN's Ed Werder.

Cruz has yet to return to field for Big Blue after tearing his patellar tendon on Oct. 12. 2014 against the Eagles. The 29-year-old was expected to return during the 2015 season but calf injuries set him back until he opted for season-ending surgery in mid-November.
