There seems to finally be an end date to the contract negotiations between Russell Wilson and the Seahawks.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, July 30th will be the last day the teams will try to get a long term deal done for the star quarterback. July 30th is also the Seahawks first day of training camp. Per Rapoport, there will be no talks of negotiations the second Wilson steps onto the practice field. All the focus will be on the Seahawks trying to get back to their third consecutive Super Bowl.

Wilson is entering the final year of his rookie contract, which will pay him 1.54 million this season.

With a deadline in place, it could speed up the negotiations. However, with Wilson already stating he would not holdout and the Seahawks ability to franchise tag Wilson the next two years, it does not seem likely that a deal would get put into place before the July 30 deadline.
