Redskins sign defensive end Ziggy Hood
The Washington Redskins are looking to add a bit of depth to the defensive line, and they've done that by signing Ziggy Hood.

Hood, a former first-round pick out of the the University of Missouri by the Pittsburgh Steelers, has played in 98 games in his six-year career, recording 111 tackles and 12.5 sacks.
Hood participated in two games this season for the Chicago Bears.
The Redskins have four total defensive ends under contract for next season in Stephen Paea, Chris Baker and Ricky Jean Francois. Washington also has Jason Hatcher signed for next season, but the 33-year-old is considering retirement.
