Ravens fan in critical condition after Sunday fight with Raiders fans

A Baltimore Ravens fan was taken to the hospital after an alleged fight with two Oakland Raiders fans toward the end of the game at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday, Baltimore police said. The 55-year-old man, Joseph Bauer, is in critical condition at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center due to a serious head injury.
Bauer’s sister, Susan, said his head hit the concrete, knocking him unconscious and causing a subdural hematoma. Joseph Bauer was attending the game with his wife and another couple when the incident occurred.
According to Bauer, the family has been told he has a 30 percent chance of survival.
"My brother is in critical condition on life support over a football game," said Susan Bauer, via the Baltimore Sun. "We're in shock over this."
The two men involved in the alleged altercation have been arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault, according to police. The Ravens issued the following statement on Monday on the heels of the altercation.
