PHOTO: This McDonald's in Vikings territory gave out Packers cups
As if Minnesota Vikings fans needed a slap in the face.
Week 13 was a nightmare for the Vikings. It began with the Green Bay Packers beating the Detroit Lions on a miraculous Hail Mary, and it ended with a 38-7 shellacking at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks.
Now, a McDonald's in the Twin Cities area is handing out Packers cups. Brett Boese of the Post-Bulletin provided photo evidence of the embarrassing mishap for the fast-food joint squarely in Vikings territory, via his Twitter account.
Michael Rand of the Star-Tribune was able to get in touch with one of the managers from the McDonald's location in question.

"I know there have been Vikings and Gophers promotions because this is Minnesota," the unnamed manager told the Star-Tribune. "It sounds like something that would happen in Wisconsin. I have no idea."
This probably wasn't an elaborate ploy to kick Vikings fans while they're down, but the simple mixup sure seems like a bad omen with the 2015 NFC North title on the line.
