Philip Rivers lands at No. 43 on NFL's 'Top 100 Players' list

Philip Rivers is entering that "aging quarterback" territory in his 12th season.

He's still as feared a passer as ever, according the the NFL Top 100 Players of 2015 list. Rivers' pro football-playing peers voted him No. 43 overall in a segment you can watch right here.

Rivers was No. 34 on last year's list. But by all statistical accounts, he shouldn't have slid too far -- the Chargers star was fourth in the league in completion percentage (66.5) and eighth in touchdown tosses (31).

He's the third San Diego player on the list so far. Eric Weddle (No. 86) and Antonio Gates (No. 52) have already appeared in the countdown.
