Patriots rule out RB LeGarrette Blount with hip injury

New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount has been downgraded to out in Sunday night's game against the Houston Texans. 

Blount, who injured his hip, has been the workhorse player the Patriots have relied upon as their offense has sustained several injuries over the past few weeks. 

In his sixth season, Blount has pounded his way to 650 yards and 6 touchdowns.
