NFL 2010 schedule rumors

Earlier today, it was announced that every Week 17 matchup in the 2010 NFL season would consist of divisional games.

The 2010 regular season season will kick off on September 9, 2010 and conclude on January 2, 2011. Super Bowl XLV will take place on February 6 in the new Cowboys Stadium. Wildcard weekend takes place on January 8-9, the divisional playoffs on January 15-16 and the AFC & NFC Championship games are scheduled for Sunday, January 23.

The full NFL schedule will be released tonight at 7 p.m. ET, but a few of the matchups are trickling into our domain. It's been a few months since we found out Denver and San Francisco will meet in London's Wembley Stadium on October 31. However, here are more scheduled games we've come across today:

- Confirmed: The Saints will kick off the season on Thursday, September 9, at home in an NFC Championship rematch against the Vikings. 
 
- Confirmed: The Buffalo Bills will host the Chicago Bears on November 7 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.

- Confirmed: The Jets will host the first Monday night game of the season. Opponent is still unknown.

- Unconfirmed: The Minnesota Vikings will visit the New York Jets in the evening matchup on Thanksgiving Day.

- Unconfirmed: Pittsburgh's 2010 schedule is as follows:

- Unconfirmed: Cleveland will open the season in Tampa Bay

- Unconfirmed: The Eagles will open the season hosting the Packers at 4:15 in Week 1. The Packers will finish the season at home against the Bears in Week 17. Green Bay will also host the Giants on Dec. 26 and visit the Redskins on Oct. 10.
