Matt Bryant ranked as one of the best kickers in the NFL

Matt Bryant has been killer in recent years for the Atlanta Falcons, which means it's time to throw some love his way. According to a recent breakdown by Gordon McGuinness of Pro Football Focus, Bryant ranks as one of the top kickers in the entire NFL in terms of consistency.

When breaking down the kickers, McGuinness included a chart which pointed out that Bryant went 100 percent on all field goals under 50 yards. His loan weak spot was field goals of 50 or more yards, where he made 70 percent of those.

With all things being factored in, PFF pointed out that Bryant had a total 90.6 percentage throughout last season. That number places him below only Josh Brown (91.3 percent), Stephen Gostkowski (94.6 percent) and Adam Vinatieri (96.8 percent).

This also shows that age is truly just a number for kickers. As both Bryant and Vinatieri are over 40, while Brown is 36.
