Kuper joins Harris on Broncos' inactive list

Published Sep. 19, 2010 4:57 p.m. ET

Russ Hochstein replaced right guard Chris Kuper in the Denver Broncos' lineup for their game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

Kuper's left leg was rolled up on in the second half of last week's game at Jacksonville. Harris is still dealing with a sprained ankle and was replaced at right tackle by rookie Zane Beadles for the second straight week.

Another notable inactive for Denver was tailback Laurence Maroney, who was acquired from New England during the week but is dealing with an injured thigh that also kept him out of the Patriots' opener.

Seattle rookie wide receiver Golden Tate, a surprise inactive last week, was active this time, as was linebacker Leroy Hill, who missed last week's game against San Francisco while serving a one-game suspension.
