Jay Cutler's play during training camp has been clean

Published Aug. 4, 2015 11:18 a.m. ET

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has not committed a single turnover through five training camp practices, according to John Mullin of CSN Chicago.

That's right. No interceptions. No lost fumbles.

That's big news for a quarterback who struggled with turnovers in 2014. Cutler finished the season with 18 interceptions and six fumbles lost. He was also sacked 38 times.

Cutler, 32, is in his first season under head coach John Fox and offensive coordinator Adam Gase, who last coached future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning in Denver. If their first five training camp practices together are a sign of what's to come, Cutler could be on the verge of a career resurgence.
