Jags GM: No update on Justin Blackmon

Justin Blackmon hasn't played for the Jacksonville Jaguars since the middle of the 2013 season and it doesn't sound like he'll be playing for the team anytime in the near future either.
According to the Florida-Times Union, Jacksonville general manager David Caldwell said the team hasn't heard from the NFL about Blackmon's status. The wide receiver is currently serving an indefinite suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
"Our process hasn't changed," Caldwell said. "Plan to go without him, but if he emerges, he emerges and he's going to go in with those top guys and compete with those other guys. Hopefully we're able to get some news, but if not, we weren't planning on it, we're just going to go."
The Jaguars selected Blackmon with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. He hasn't played since Week 8 of the 2013 season.
