Hurt Ravens LB Suggs to miss 1st game Sunday

Published Nov. 18, 2009 9:24 p.m. ET

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs will miss Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts because of a knee injury.

Suggs has a sprained ligament in his right knee, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Wednesday. Suggs was injured on an illegal chop block by Cleveland Browns quarterback Brady Quinn following an interception by the Ravens Monday night in Baltimore's 16-0 win

The three-time Pro Bowler will miss his first NFL game in seven years - ending his streak at 105 and couple be out up to three weeks.

Quinn was fined an undisclosed amount and has apologized.

Harbaugh says he was "disappointed" with Quinn's block and that "there was no reason" for it.

Suggs will be replaced by rookie Paul Kruger.
