Gatorade Releases Cam Newton Commercial

With his MVP play on the field and his charisma and personality off of it, Cam Newton stars in a Gatorade commercial ahead of the season opener.

Ahead of the NFL season opener that features a Super Bowl 50 rematch of the Carolina Panthers against the Denver Broncos, Gatorade has released a new commercial featuring the Panthers MVP quarterback, Cam Newton.

The commercial titled “Let It Shine,” shows the offseason journey of Newton. It starts with his infamous post-Super Bowl press conference and goes through his offseason as he prepares for redemption in 2016.

With the popular gospel song “This Little Light of Mine” playing in the background, the commercial depicts Newton hard at work through a grueling offseason and ends with him just about to step out of the tunnel with his trademark grin.

This is the second commercial Newton has recently starred in as the 2016 NFL season approaches.

Under Armour released their own commercial “It Comes From Below” on Wednesday and got Newton himself to promote it via Twitter:

As the reigning MVP and arguably the most dynamic playmaker in football, it’s no surprise that Newton is the star of two of the latest season preview ads.

Both commercials are sure to get anyone – and certainly Panther fans – ready for the season to get underway and are the perfect lead up to the team’s opening kickoff in Denver on Thursday night.
