Colts' Hasselbeck ready to put Pittsburgh game behind him

Indianapolis quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, who left Sunday's 45-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth quarter, was back at practice on Wednesday in advance of the Colts' Week 14 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Hasselbeck struggled against Pittsburgh, completing 16 of 26 passes for 169 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions before leaving game in the fourth quarter with neck and rib injuries.

The 17-year-veteran, who has led the Colts to a 4-1 record as a starter this season filling in for the injured Andrew Luck, took the bulk of the snaps in practice Wednesday and is expected to play against Jacksonville despite being "stiff and sore" after the Pittsburgh game.
"I've been really fortunate this season. Monday mornings have been fine, felt pretty good," Hasselbeck said, per ESPN's Mike Wells. "Probably just a matter of time until I had this. You don't need to feel good Monday or Tuesday. Just got to feel good Wednesday and more importantly on Sunday."
While Hasselbeck is hoping to feel better by the time Sunday's game against Jacksonville arrives, he's also hoping to play better after his performance against the Steelers.
"I didn't play very well,” Hasselbeck said. "Kind of disappointed how I played. I just know I have to play a lot better for our team to have a chance. So knowing that, trying to improve from it and just have to play tougher mentally and physically. And also just understand that's behind us and it only counts as one loss. All our goals are still ahead of us. How we accomplish all of our goals is going out trying to get a win this week.”
Sunday will mark Hasselbeck's second start of the season against the Jaguars. He completed 30 of 47 passes for 282 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 16-13 overtime win Oct. 4.
