Colts CB Butler named AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Indianapolis cornerback Darius Butler, whose interception helped the Colts hang on to beat the Broncos on Sunday, was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts.
With the Colts up 27-24 late in the fourth quarter, Butler picked off Denver quarterback Peyton Manning, enabling Indianapolis to run out the clock.
The seven-year veteran finished the game with two tackles and one pass defensed to go along with the interception.

It's the second time in his career Butler has won the award. He was also honored in 2012.
Butler is the the second Indianapolis player to be named AFC Defensive Player of the Week this season, joining safety Mike Adams, who was recognized in Week 5.
