Chiefs DE DeVito: 'We are building a bully' on defense

Mike DeVito stole a line from his old coach Rex Ryan to describe his new defense.
“We are building a bully,” DeVito told the team's official site. “We are going to be the team you don’t want to play on Sunday.”
Excuse DeVito for his Rex-ish boast. It's been a while since the defensive end suited up since tearing his Achilles last season. He's just excited to be at full strength again.
When he makes that long-awaited return, it'll be on a defense he feels is unstoppable up front, in the middle, and in the backfield.
“I’ve been around a lot of great defenses but I don’t know if I’ve been around one that is this complete and had this much talent before," DeVito said.
Sounds like another Rex Ryan line. Maybe Bob Sutton, Rex's old assistant head coach in New York, is just as brazen now that he's calling Andy Reid's defense.
Or maybe, just maybe, DeVito can't wait for the season to start.
“I’m so excited about this defense,” he admitted. "You have great leaders, you have humble guys, guys who have every reason not to be humble that are humble, that are hard-working, that are putting in the effort. So the sky is the limit for this defense."
