Buccaneers vs. Falcons: Tuesday Injury Report

Thursday Night Football features the Buccaneers, so here is the Tuesday injury report for the game against the Falcons.

That was rough to take, Buccaneers’ fans, was it not? We won’t linger on it too long, but 23 penalties by the opposition? How do they win the game after that? Really bad defense on the back-end, that’s for sure.

Well, at least the next game is against a team the Bucs have owned recently. It’s actually uncanny. Jameis Winston has been up and down over his first season and a half, but he is 3-0 against the Atlanta Falcons. In three wins against Atlanta, Winston has completed 64% of his passes and posted a 101.8 passer rating.

This is a team the Bucs could get back on track against, even on a short week.

We know that Quizz isn’t going to play, that’s why Mike James has returned. Hopefully Shepard will be able to go on Thursday night, but we will track as always.

The trouble with these Thursday night games is the lack of recovery time from injuries. Guys that might be able to play on Sunday or Monday are far less likely to play on Thursday. We shall see.
