Buccaneers Part Ways with Austin Seferian-Jenkins
The Buccaneers have unsurprisingly waived tightend Austin Seferian-Jenkins, a result of his arrest early Friday morning.
After a little more than two seasons, the saga of Austin Seferian-Jenkins has come to an end with the Buccaneers. The talented yet troubled tight end was arrested early Friday morning for a misdemeanor DUI.

In an apparent effort to one-up his prior stupid moves, Seferian-Jenkins drove drunk Friday morning despite a previous DUI arrest that resulted in an ignition-lock device being court ordered. ASJ has “Benjamin Button’d” over the course of his career, in which he grew more and more immature as time passed.
This is not the first talented yet troubled player the Bucs have dealt with over the last couple of years. It seems as if, for a time, the Bucs were willing to take those leaps of faiths on players of questionable character and for the most part all of them turned into failed experiments. Every fan will be watching to see if ASJ becomes the next Blount/Talib success story, or the next Mike Williams/Tanard Jackson.
Seferian-Jenkins ends his Buccaneer career with 45 catches, 603 yards and 7 touchdowns. He will be subject to waivers.
