New England enters play at a perfect 3-0. The Patriots have managed to win all three of their games this season without Tom Brady under center. Jacoby Brissett is going to get the start today with Jimmy Garoppolo again inactive. Julian Edelman is Brissett’s backup on Sunday.

Buffalo won last week to move to 1-2 on the year. However, head coach Rex Ryan is still very much on the hot seat. If he can’t beat Bill Belichick when the Patriots are at their most vulnerable, don’t be surprised in the Pegula Family moves on from Ryan as the Bills coach.

This game should be close, as most Belichick/Ryan battles are. New England is better at in-game execution than any team in football. Ryan’s teams ride a roller coaster of emotions. This should be one of the better games in the early window on Sunday afternoon.
