Bill Belichick wore a 'VI Rings' sweatshirt at the NFL Combine

Bill Belichick, like just about every other head coach, is in Indianapolis for the NFL Combine, and has been for the past few days. He’s there scouting players who could potentially wind up being the 32nd pick in the draft, as well as those bound to be taken in the later rounds.

On Sunday, he was doing much more than scouting, though. He was also in the broadcast booth, starting an impromptu conversation with former Patriots great Willie McGinest.

The chat came after Rich Eisen handed his headset to Belichick, who was wearing a sweatshirt that read “VI Rings” – the name of his boat before it was updated to represent his seventh Super Bowl.

As you can tell, Belichick was a bit more personable in his talk with McGinest, even chuckling a few times in the booth.

The biggest story, of course, is the fact that Belichick was bragging to the world with a simple sweatshirt.
