Andre Reed joins Bills as coaching intern

Andre Reed is one of the best players to ever wear a Buffalo Bills uniform. He was a key cog on the Bills teams that made four straight Super Bowls from 1990-1993. After a highly successful career, Reed was named to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014.

While Reed's playing days are over, he still wants to make an impact on the field for the Bills. As the team started its mandatory minicamp this week, Reed joined the Bills as a coaching intern. Reed is one of seven coaches who will be with the Bills through training camp as part of the Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellowship.

It seems as if Reed has considered coaching for some time now.

''I have a lot to give back to the game,'' Reed said. ''I had a feeling I wanted to do something after I was done playing, even before that but my kids were too small and I think as they're older now I can devote more time to it if I want to.''

Bills fans should be excited by the fact that Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods will be learning from a Hall of Famer as they hope to reach their full potential as professional football players.
