What does Draymond Green 'hate' about Isaiah Thomas?
Neither Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas nor Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green are "supposed" to be in the NBA. Both entered the league undersized with worrisome flaws. Both were second-round picks who might've never cracked a rotation if a different team selected them.
But they worked their way into an opportunity and grabbed it by the throat. Now they're two of the better players on two of the most competitive teams in the league, and one has the utmost respect for the other.
Thomas is averaging 21 points and 6.3 assists per game. His usage rate is well above his career average and his turnover rate is below. He's the catalyst for Boston's sometimes-sludgy offense, and a huge reason why they've won four of their last five games.
