TNT studio show heads to Bay Area for NBA opening night

NEW YORK (AP) TNT will host its ''Inside the NBA'' studio show from Pier 43 in San Francisco on Oct. 27, part of its opening night coverage that includes the Golden State Warriors' ring ceremony.

With the Warriors beginning their title defense against New Orleans at Oracle Arena, the studio crew of Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson will travel to the Bay Area for their pregame show and a day of activities that includes a concert.

The space at Pier 43 will include a 40-foot LED basketball court and a stage for the postgame musical performance that will be announced at a later date.

The ''Inside the NBA'' team will begin its coverage at 7 p.m. EDT before the opener of the doubleheader between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls.

TNT is beginning its 32nd consecutive year of NBA coverage.
