Stan Van Gundy still sounds torn on Greg Monroe

The Detroit Pistons lost Greg Monroe to the Milwaukee Bucks in free agency this offseason. While a few pieces to fill his place were acquired in Ersan Ilyasova and Marcus Morris, it sounds like head coach Stan Van Gundy is still torn on how Monroe's free agency played out.

Here's what Van Gundy told Zach Lowe on The Lowe Post about the handling of Monroe:

"I’ll be honest. I go back and forth on it. I really do. Because I think Greg is an outstanding player, and I think he’s a high-character guy as well, and I think that those are the guys that you generally want to build around. But I don’t think that he and Andre Drummond are the best fit. Not saying you couldn’t make it work, but certainly not the best fit."
