Should Philadelphia give Baron Davis a tryout?
Baron Davis is 36 years old and hasn't played in an NBA game since he tore his ACL and MCL on May 6, 2012.
That was a long time ago, and even then Davis wasn't a very effective basketball player. But he wants back in the league. Should Philadelphia be the team to make his dream come true?
The Sixers need a point guard and could use some more veterans to infuse any sort of culture in their locker room. Davis is a point guard and a veteran, but it's unclear how much of a positive influence he'd be on Philadelphia's young nucleus.
Davis has a history of letting himself get out of shape and has clashed with several head coaches in numerous stops around the NBA.
Why would a rebuilding team like the Sixers waste a roster spot on someone who has a zero percent chance of being a part of their future?
