Rondae Hollis-Jefferson calls himself 'the midrange assassin'

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson immediately broke into the Nets locker room as the team's funniest and goofiest player. So, let's hope this following quote is just him being sarcastic and silly.

From Tim Bontemps of the New York Post:

Hollis-Jefferson is a heck of a defender and a quality slasher, but has a notoriously broken jumper. It hitches. It's off balance. It moves in ever direction. It's like he's a puppet and the puppeteer is an uncoordinated and distracted five-year-old.

Hollis-Jefferson shot just 8-for-39 from long range during his two year sat Arizona experiencing the college three. But even if he is "the midrange assassin," and not "the three-point assassin," things don't bode well for the nickname. He made only 36 percent of his jumpers last season, per DraftExpress.
