DENVER -- Houston Rockets point guard Ty Lawson has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from his drunken driving arrest in Denver.
Court records show the former Denver Nuggets guard was charged with drunken driving, speeding and other offenses last January, but pleaded guilty Thursday to driving while ability impaired and a lane violation. He faces up to 180 days in jail when he is sentenced Jan. 14.
Lawson also was arrested for drunken driving in Los Angeles in July.

A Denver judge in July ordered the 28-year-old to complete a 30-day residential treatment program at Cliffside Malibu, a celebrity rehabilitation center in California, before allowing the case to proceed. The same month, the Nuggets traded Lawson to the Rockets.
