Rivers: Chris Paul is '50-50' for Game 2
Somehow, someway, the Houston Rockets lost Game 1 against the Los Angeles Clippers despite Chris Paul spending the entire night on the sideline.
For Rockets fans, that's obviously bad news. But the "good" news is there's a chance Paul misses Game 2, too. Here's further analysis from FanSided's Stanford Crissey:
"They’ll be lucky to get the same result in the second game, however. MVP runner-up James Harden scored 20 points but committed nine turnovers, and the Rockets were unable to take advantage of a huge opportunity to score a win against a CP3-less Clippers squad. There’s a 50 percent chance they’ll get that same opportunity a second time, and they’ll be unlikely to mess things up again."
It's almost impossible to imagine any scenario where the Rockets lose two straight playoff games to a thin team that doesn't have its all-world point guard in the lineup. But that doesn't mean immense pressure won't be on their shoulders, regardless.
Until Game 2 is over, a darkish cloud hangs above Houston.
