Report: Nets to honor Earl Clark's request and waive him

Earl Clark wanted to be waived by the Nets. In related news, Earl Clark is going to be waived by the Nets.

From Shams Charania of RealGM:

Clark only played 14 games for the Nets this past season and had a contract for $1.2 million for the upcoming season, though that figure wasn't guaranteed. With 17 men on the roster, Clark probably wasn't going to make the roster, so requesting a release so he could have time to sign elsewhere made sense for both sides. Now, he'll have an opportunity to find work before training camp starts in a couple of months.
