Report: Heat to play on Christmas Day for seventh straight season

Despite coming off a lottery season, the Miami Heat remain one of the NBA's marquee teams.

The Heat, a Christmas Day fixture over the last decade, will reportedly host an unnamed opponent at AmericanAirlines Arena on Dec. 25 in their seventh consecutive Christmas game, according to early drafts of the 2015-16 schedule. 

One report has the Heat playing the New Orleans on Dec. 25, but that has yet to be confirmed. The official schedule will be released on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
