Report: Heat interested in trading for reigning Euroleague MVP
Just because it's draft season doesn't mean that teams aren't exploring all options to improve. And you can certainly count on Pat Riley and the Miami Heat front office to leave no stone unturned.
One particularly intriguing option on the periphery of NBA radars these days is Nemanja Bjelica, who won Euroleague MVP in 2014-15 for Turkey's Fenerbahce Ulker.
The 27-year-old Serbian pro's draft rights are currently held by the Minnesota Timberwolves, but there are rumors that the Wolves are interested in recouping something for Bjelica's NBA rights, as he's yet to appear stateside. And the Heat are purportedly one of the teams in the running for the European MVP.
Although he has the height of a traditional big at 6-foot-10, Bjelica doesn't fit into any typical mold. One of his best attributes is his ball-handling, but that can lead to problems, as his finishing around the rim leaves something to be desired.
All options are on the table for the Heat this offseason as Miami looks to get back to the postseason. So if you're unfamiliar with a player like Bjelica, don't fret. The Heat will do all of the homework necessary.

If the #Twolves go the trade route w/ Nemanja Bjelica, teams I hear that like him: Mavs, Spurs, Heat, Nets, & Bulls. Maybe a few others too.
