Markieff Morris fined $10,000 for trade demand, responds on Twitter
Things just keep getting uglier between the Phoenix Suns and disgruntled forward Markieff Morris. Before the weekend started, Morris took to Twitter to reiterate his stance that he won't be in Phoenix next season.
And after the Labor Day holiday, the NBA announced that Morris' public trade demands would cost him -- literally, to the tune of $10,000:
Markieff Morris of the Phoenix Suns has been fined $10,000 for a public statement detrimental to the NBA, the league announced today. The statement concerned Morris' desire to be traded by the Suns.
In response, Morris retweeted a FOX Sports tweet sharing the announcement, then posted a photo that seemed to indicate he's not sweating the latest development in this saga, before quickly deleting the tweet that included said photo:

Media day and the start of training camp for the Suns is less than three weeks.
