LeBron is getting worried about potential Cavs-Heat playoff matchup
LeBron James is starting to look ahead to the playoffs, and he has reason to be concerned. After the Cavs fell to the Heat on Saturday for the 11th consecutive time in Miami, LBJ hinted at some issues his former team could pose Cleveland if the two meet in the postseason.
"The way they've beat us here is a little concerning if we face them [in the playoffs]," James said, via ESPN, after Saturday's 122-101 blowout loss. "I think we'll be ready for it more. We didn't play [up to our] potential. We didn't play our game. We let them play their game, and they took it to us."
The Heat are 4-0 since LeBron took his talents back to Cleveland. Even more concerning is the lopsided nature of the defeats; the Heat have outscored the Cavs by 60 points in those four wins.
The Cavs currently have a one-game lead over the Raptors for the top seed in the East while the Heat are a half-game behind the Hawks for the 3 seed. If the season ended today, the two teams could meet in the second round, a matchup that would easily be one of the most intriguing in the postseason.
