Kristaps Porzingis' hands are too big for stretchy gloves

Published Nov. 17, 2015 12:55 p.m. ET

Kristaps Porzingis spent his Monday evening with a group of Knicks and Nets serving dinner at a Boys and Girls Club in New Jersey.

First, he had to get into character. Unfortunately, we never got to see Kristaps in one of those lunch lady hairnets, but we did get to see him put on those plastic gloves worn for cleanliness...Check that. We got to see him try to put them on.

From FOX Sports' own Fred Katz:

Yes, Kristaps is so big that even the gloves that are meant to stretch to fit everyone's hand barely slip onto him. If he weren't an NBA player making a legitimate living, how would he shop for gloves? Actually, how would he shop for any clothes? Is Latvia just filled with Foot Lockers that are ready to serve 7-foot-3 mammoths?
