Kerr tells players 'about time we got a close game' in win over OKC

The Warriors have played 50 games to this point of the season and have only lost four times, but what's been even more incredible during this historic run is just how many of them end up as complete blowouts by the time the evening is finished.

Saturday night's win over a very good Thunder team was the exception, as Oklahoma City was tied with Golden State with under three-and-a-half minutes left.

Steve Kerr's demeanor on the sidelines is part of what makes him such a good fit as head coach of these Warriors, and he used the opportunity to remind his guys that it's actually a good thing to be challenged late in a regular season contest.

Some may view this as Kerr being brash or displaying a bit too much confidence, but he was simply telling it like it is. The Warriors had won their previous five games by an average of 17.4 points, and are second in the league in point differential behind only the San Antonio Spurs -- a team that Golden State beat by 30 less than two weeks ago.
