Jimmy Butler dealing with heel injury
Jimmy Butler has appeared in all 15 of the Bulls' games this season, and is averaging 36.9 minutes per contest.
But all of that could change if the heel injury he's been dealing with since the Nov. 20 loss to the Warriors gets any worse.
Butler is unquestionably the Bulls' best player, and consistently sets the tone with his play on both ends of the floor. The team will be in trouble if he's forced to miss any significant time, but it seems as though the injury is manageable, at least for now.
Jimmy Butler admitted that he has been dealing with a heel injury since the Warriors game on Nov. 20. "Play through it," Butler said after Monday night's win over the Spurs. "I don't think that anybody cares that I'm injured. Nobody feels sorry for me. So [I] got to play. Hopefully it doesn't get worse. Get some treatment and be ready to go Wednesday ... there's nothing I can do about it. I want to play. I got to play. So ya'll will see me suit up."
