Denver got back on course against Dallas.

The Denver Nuggets were able to steer the ship around after returning home to Pepsi Center. Going up against a red hot Dallas Mavericks team, the Nuggets played one of their best games of the season.

It was one of the few blowouts of the year where the Nuggets were on the winning side of things. What was even more impressive was the fact that they put forth this effort without a three of their key players. Faried was out for personal reasons, Mudiay was resting his back, and Gallinari was resting his injured ankle.

This goes to show how deep the Nuggets just happen to be this season. Will Barton stepped up and provided a massive scoring spark of 31 points.

Gary Harris also had a great night despite a below average night from the field. He made his impact in other ways such as grabbing 5 key rebounds and getting 2 steals to go along with a sweet 20 point total.

Plus, despite a relatively quiet night for the Joker (thanks to some questionable calls), he still made his presence known by scoring 13 points and getting 9 assists. Nights like these show why fans should be excited about this team going forward.

If they start stringing games like this on a more consistent basis, then the last playoff spot will go to the Nuggets.
