Curry, Thompson rank among top five guards in NBA 2K16
Golden State Warriors guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson each rank in the top two of their respective positions.
Curry, who rates as a 93 overall, is first among point guards and second overall behind LeBron James' 94 rating:
Thompson (87 overall rating) ranks second among shooting guards behind James Harden (92 rating):
Thompson has established himself as one of the best two-way wings in the league, and it's encouraging to see him finally getting the recognition he deserves. He might not be a top-15 player (as 2K's rating suggests), but he's certainly among the top 25-30 players in the game, and he belongs in the No. 2 spot for 2-guards.
Warriors fans will be disappointed with the rest of the team's ratings, however.
Draymond Green (82 overall rating), Andre Iguodala (77), Harrison Barnes (77) and Andrew Bogut (77) do not appear in the top 10 at their respective positions, which is shocking, especially for the the Finals MVP. Iguodala's rating puts him behind Luol Deng (78), which is just absurd.
