Cavaliers' J.R. Smith buys cotton candy mid-game, shares with fan (PHOTO)

There's a chance that the Cleveland Cavaliers aren't taking the preseason 100 percent seriously. That's not a jab at the professionalism of LeBron James, J.R. Smith and the rest of the Cavs. They know how important this season is, and they know that the preseason is one of the few times they'll be able to practice before the grind of the season starts.
But the Cavs are also engaging in some fan-friendly shenanigans. First, it was James taking a selfie with some fans last week. Now, it's Smith going into the stands, talking to a vendor, and grabbing some cotton candy -- for himself and for a fan -- in the middle of Monday's preseason game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

That fan, it turns out, is the son of PGA pro Jason Day. Smith, of course, is an avid golfer:

Here are a few questions, though: Did Smith have cash on him? Or does the vendor know he's good for it? Or, perhaps even better, does Smith have a rider in his contract that gives him access to all the concessions he wants?
Whatever the answer, it's sweet to be a member of the Cavaliers.
