Blazers aren't just gonna sit back' in free agency

Published May. 1, 2015 10:07 a.m. ET

The Portland Trail Blazers have a seriously busy summer on their hands. Not only do they have to re-sign Robin Lopez, Wesley Matthews and, obviously, LaMarcus Aldridge, they also have to prepare for the draft and recruit other free agents that they think can help their team reach the next step.

It's a harrowing time for both the Blazers and their fans, but if president of basketball operations Neil Olshey's attitude towards the summer is any indication, the Blazers aren't worried.

"It's gonna be fun," Olshey said. He went on to say that the Blazers "aren't just gonna sit back" in free agency. A lot of this is typical general manager speak, but don't be surprised if the Blazers come out very aggressive once the offseason officially begins.
